D17 is the freelance business of Dirk de Kok.

Dirk de Kok has 10+ years of experience in the online world.

Before becoming a freelance technical consultant, he worked as technical director for the Eccky business unit at Media Republic.

He came to Media Republic after working for a long time for the dutch online agency Lost Boys. Here he worked as Java specialist and technical consultant. He worked for clients like KPN Hi, Sanoma, Nuon, Yarden.

During the finishing of his studies Psychology he got in touch with the online world at World Online (now known as Tiscali, part of KPN).

So what is that name, D17? Well, D stands for Dirk. And 17 is just a nice number, namely a prime number.
